Playing with Lightroom

I downloaded the trial version to LR last night and been having lots of fun playing with it today. Still have lots to learn.

Boy Kit #2!

I didn't think I could pull off one boy kit, but I was very much inspired to do another one after Urban Shoreline. Here's Rock-it Science....

Well, not a whole lot going on here this weekend. We went to my parent's house for lunch today. My mom made some yummy carne quesada and homemade tortillas. mmmmmm

After that we came home and did a little house work. And then later on we watched our nieces and nephew. The kids played for hours.

The house is pretty quiet now since the kids are in bed. I think I'm gonna try to scrap or work on finishing up my next kit. Oh, and I hope to have a new collection of templates out soon. So keep your eyes peeled! :)

Not only was i busy designing this week, but I was scrapping as well! TLP has their new BYOC out! It's amazing as always and the FABULOUS Shabby Miss Jenn is the guest designer there this month. I finally had a chance to play with her goodies. I have been dying to for sometime now.

I had to scrap an old pumpkin patch picture for this. For some reason we did not make it to the pumpkin patch last year. And this year Kevin is saying that he thinks the boys are too old to go to the patch! How can that be??! These are my babies and always will be! Besides I neeeeeed to take some pumpkin patch pics! lol!


Here's one of my baby that I took the other day on his 7th birthday. I used a lot of goodies from A5D! :) Lots of stuff from Crissy's Lottery Ticket! What a great deal this is!!



And here's one of my big baby, Aaron, using my Urban Shoreline kit. He's wearing his new shades he just had to have before we went on our Florida trip. They're a little big but he didn't want kid glasses. I don't blame him either. lol! He's growing up so fast. *sigh*

You would think I would have created a boy kit before because I have boys, but I sure haven't. I guess having boys inspires me to create girly kits! lol! :)

It's all about Jackson

Today it's all about Jackson! He's celebrating his 7th birthday...I can not believe it! Just 7 years ago i was cradling him in my arms. I can hardly sit him in my lap anymore. :(

We started off this morning by picking him up some hotcakes from McDonalds. Those are his favorite and eats every bit of them. Also Kevin made a pitcher of Orange Julius. yum!! After breakfast we quickly proceeded to opening presents. lol! I just love seeing him all excited and seeing that sparkle in his eyes!

Well he was definitely excited to get his first gift. lol! A Pokemon Emerald game for his Nintendo DS. Big brother, Aaron, already has the game, but he has been wanting his own.

My pics came out pretty blurry this morning because of all the jumping and moving around he did. lol




And of course he got some Webkinz from his big brother. The dolphin and tiger snake.



Of course mom can not resist buying him new clothes. Which he could care less about. lol! But I got them anyway! When Aaron and I were shopping for Webkinz, I let Aaron pick one out too. He picked the skunk. My mom will just LOVE that one. lol! Just a few people know this, but when I was a toddler I was bit by a rabid skunk. That's sure to bring back some awful memories for her. I'm glad I don't remember a bit of it. lol


Well, the cake is cooling and waiting for the frosting. Clothes are being washed and dried. And I need to get in the shower. lol! We'll be celebrating Jackson's birthday tonight at Peter Piper with family.

Happy birthday, Jackson! We love ya! :)

Catching Up

I've been meaning to post here for a while, but life keeps getting in the way. I have some new products to show ya!

And here's another fall kit. This one I created for my SPD store. I don't think I'm done with the fall kits. It's my favorite season and the weather here is starting to feel a bit fall-ish. It's got me inspired! I probably have a few more fall kits up my sleeve before winter blows in. LOL! Here's Fall In Love....
